Centre of Excellence, Ahmedabad (India)

The 'Center of Excellence' is part of a comprehensive master-plan for the site including management offices, product display areas, research and public areas addressing the client's building requirements.
The project is designed as a hexagon with porous structure, allowing for the existing forest to remain and invade the spaces. The hexagon is further divided in hexagonal cells, recalling the idea of tessellation. The trusses follow the same pattern, making it a wholly singular network. Each hexagonal cell has a covered area of 1250 sqm.
