Bandırma Park transforms a decommissioned military site in the port town of Bandırma into a lively cultural and knowledge-driven district. The master plan prioritizes sustainability, connectivity, and community by integrating eco-tourism loops, heritage trails, retail streets, and public green corridors. Central to the development is the Design Institute—an adaptive structure inspired by local industrial forms like sheds and containers, organized to foster collaboration and experimentation. Meandering walkways and dynamic edges activate the site, with plazas, cafés, and recreational zones encouraging inclusive public interaction. Designed to strengthen ties between Bandırma and surrounding regions, the project embodies a holistic approach to contemporary urban living.
