Club House, Indore (India)

A club house built in an upcoming residential development in the outskirts of city of Indore. The brief is to have a building with accomodation and catering facilties for small private parties and gatherings. Since the location is in outskirts making it vulnerable to breakins which is why the concept is to create a compact fortress which is rigid from the outside and open on the inside.The brick structure is chosen to encourage local construction and obtain an earthy naturally ventilated house in the dry climate. The ground floor consists of a multipurpose hall which will be a cafe seating and can be used for indoor parties and dinners for upto 25 people. The large openings will allow extension of indoor hall into the connected open courts with pool and garden creating a continuous large space for seamless movement for guests and service
personnel.
